Remittance Solution
Through the Remittance Fund Transfer API, fund transfer from outside of India is made easy. Exchange houses abroad can set up services to transfer money into Indian accounts. Along with Federal Bank APIs for enquiry and reconciliation, this bundle offers a complete fund transfer solution, from abroad to accounts maintained by Federal Bank in India. These APIs are used for receiving the money from foreign exchanges, money will be transferred between exchange Account number and the customer account number.

Almost all APIs which Federal Bank exposes follow the asynchronous processing model. It means that, for a given request, the processing may not happen immediately, and hence the actual response is not returned. The API will return an acknowledgment message instead, which signifies that the request is received. When the transaction processing completes sometime later, the API can notify the client application, provided the client registers a URL during onboarding. This URL thus acts like a Webhook call-back URL. The Outbound Asynchronous Response API is a facility to notify client/customer
